DESCRIPTION:Let’s come together to raise awareness and start the conversation about homelessness in our community! \n  \nEvent Details: \n\nFriday\, October 3 from 5pm – Saturday\, October 4\, 8am\nFriday night – free SOUP KITCHEN provided by Frankies Community Kitchen\nSaturday morning – free BREAKFAST provided by Warragul Lions Club and COFFEE by Alimentos Catering.\nGuest speakers throughout the event including Mindfull Aus founder Matt Runnalls.\nSaturday morning panel discussion\n\n  \nWhat You Need to Know: \nWe want this event to provide a glimpse into a night on the streets. \nWe encourage you to embrace the experience of eating a soup kitchen dinner. A tea and coffee station will be available as well as water refill stations. However\, you may choose to bring extra snacks. \n  \nWhat to Bring: \nSleeping bag\, light camp mattress and/or cardboard. Swags are discouraged. \n  \nFundraising – Donations \nWhile the focus of our Community Sleepout is to raise awareness and create conversations about homelessness\, we will welcome fundraising or donations from participants. \nDonations will be accepted at the event AND we will distribute information on how to volunteer or make a direct donation to Food Relief agencies in Baw Baw Shire. \nALL money will be donated to our local Food Relief agencies.
