March 22nd to 24th will once again see Lardner Park come alive as thousands attend Lardner Park's biggest event of the year, Farm World. For over half a century, Farm World has been the go to event for those interested in all things agriculture and outdoors. It is an exciting opportunity for patrons to interact with farm machinery, and farm animals and snag the best deals on farm products. It is also the social event of the year! With over 100 acres of exhibits and showcases, there is something for everyone ranging from farm equipment and machinery, boats, caravans, horse floats, clothing, plants, technology, and much, much more!
Throughout the weekend there are organised events that shouldn’t be missed such as the Freestyle Kings Motocross demonstrations. The team will have all their best daredevil skills on display in their daily shows from Friday to Sunday, with a special showcase on Saturday night before the Farm World Rodeo. Just in case motocross isn’t your style, another event of significance is the Telstra Women in Ag Luncheon held on Friday. With a special lineup of guest speakers and a beautiful meal, this will be a must-attend event.
There will also be a tractor-trailer backing competition. This puts the farmers against the machinery dealers in a challenge of skill. This healthy rivalry will be a thrilling and action-packed event showcasing the talent of local farmers and dealers. Alternatively, the Events Centre will turn into a demonstration kitchen and appliance showroom. The CWA ladies will be serving their famous scones with jam and cream! Along with a variety of other vendors, the ladies are sure to keep your appetite at bay and you might even be inspired to get into the kitchen yourself!
