Though the gates are temporarily closed, there’s still plenty of action at Lardner Park. While we have missed seeing the friendly faces of visitors and customers, be assured we have been taking the initiative behind the scenes, keeping the pulse of Lardner Park and Farm World alive through a holding pattern of maintenance and a focus on the future. In this tricky Covid-19 reality, adjustment is constant, but our staff have pulled out all stops to adhere to the ever-changing environment.
‘Proactive’ sums up our efforts; maintaining a Covid safe plan and looking to a future where we continue to host exciting events. As always, community health and safety are paramount. The beauty of having such a magnificent and expansive property – 300 acres to be exact – means social distancing can be easily maintained. The fluid nature of Lardner Park is also ideal for complying with Covid regulations.
Farm World is at the forefront of our minds! After 57 fabulous years, our rich heritage and tradition of field days is poised to grow and improve once the current situation allows. In the short term at least, Field Days may have a different slant – be assured we aren’t resting on our laurels of being thought leaders in this sphere, but continually looking for new ways to make all events an enriching experience for visitors. While the ultimate decisions regarding public safety are in the hands of government authorities, at Lardner Park, we will certainly comply and never risk the health of our visitors and stakeholders. That aside, we look forward to an amazing, positive future, welcoming back past visitors and new ones as well.
